Clarke Wolfe’s pop culture knowledge has been lauded throughout the digital space. A fan of entertainment across the board, Clarke has interviewed and shared the stage with many world-renowned cultural icons from Carl Reiner, M. Night Shyamalan and Robert Rodriguez to Steve Wozniak, Robert Kirkman, Cate Blanchett, and Jane Fonda. In 2015, Clarke also served as the Editor-In-Chief of the beloved brand Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls for Legendary Digital Networks.
In addition to beginning her career in pop culture journalism, Clarke was a writer on Shudder’s original series THE CORE and in 2019 completed her first original screenplay, the holiday rom-com MERRY CHRISMUKKAH. In 2018, Clarke was featured in author Alicia Malone’s book THE FEMALE GAZE: ESSENTIAL MOVIES MADE BY WOMEN penning an essay on the merits of Mary Harron’s brilliant satire AMERICAN PSYCHO.
Clarke has made a name for herself in the online trivia world. In 2016 she was voted “Rookie of the Year” of Skybound Entertainment’s eSports trivia league the Movie Trivia Schmoedown. Just a short time later, she and Rachel Cushing would team up and become two-time champions known to fans around the world as “The Shirewolves.” She is also a regular guest on comedian Doug Benson’s popular movie podcast DOUG LOVES MOVIES.
In the fall of 2017, Clarke launched the SENDING THE WOLFE podcast featuring a conversation with Samm Levine discussing Francis Ford Coppola's classic THE GODFATHER. Additional guests included writer Marc Bernardin (FATMAN ON BATMAN), actress Lin Shaye (INSIDIOUS, THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY), and PICARD showrunner Terry Metalas. Created and produced by Clarke, SENDING THE WOLFE ran for 60 episodes across two seasons.
